"The best thing about teaching is sharing the joy of learning. I am looking forward to welcoming new teachers to the profession by offering them ongoing support, advocacy and help in their beginning years. I truly believe that student achievement will be enhanced as a result of this project. While mentoring, it will be exciting to learn alongside the new teachers and to get to know the diverse Alaskan cultures."
